There are two main objectives of this diploma course.

To prepare Computer Operator for various office packages effectively with some analytical approach and who can be directly employed by organizations.

To Prepare Computer Assistant to Chartered Accountants.

The course has been designed keeping in mind the desirable characteristics of a competent computer professional. We have identified these characteristics to be the following:

1. Strong knowledge and skill base of the followings from the core fields.

• Office Application packages.
• Web designing.
• Programing methodology & techniques.
• LAN and Internet.
• Database User

2. Ability to work in a team.

Strict standards would be maintained, to ensure quality. In addition, students have the two optional subjects to select viz., FoxPro/MS Access and OOPS with C++/Financial Accounting.
